Getting to the Celebration

The Nordic Dharma Celebration will take place 16-18 September 2016.

The festival will take place at Gullnäsgården, in Strömstad.

Airports:

The closest major airports to Strömstad are:

(i) Oslo Rygge – Oslo’s second airport

Ryan Air (www.ryanair.com) is one of the main airlines flying to / from Rygge.

It takes about 1 hour 10 by car from Rygge to Gullnäsgården.

(ii) Oslo Gardermoen – Oslo’s main airport.

It takes about 2 hours 15 by car from Gardermoen to Gullnäsgården.

It is possible to fly to Gardermoen, catch the airport bus or local train to Oslo and then catch the bus to Tanum (see bus travel, below).

(iii) Göteborg Landvetter Airport

It takes just over 2 hours by car from Landvetter to Gullnäsgården.

It is also possible to catch the airport bus to Gothenburg city and then the bus or the train to Strömstad (see below).

Bus

It is possible to catch the bus to Strömstad from Gothenburg.  We can arrange for someone to pick you up from Strömstad at a cost of 60 NOK.

From Oslo we recommend the bus to Tanum. We can arrange for someone to pick you up from Tanum at a cost of 80 NOK.

Train

Trains go frequently from Gothenburg to Strömstad. We can arrange for someone to pick you up from Strömstad at a cost of 60 NOK.

However it is more complicated to travel from Oslo to Strömstad by train. From Oslo we recommend catching the bus to Tanum.
