The annual Nordic Dharma Celebration (NDC) is a wonderful opportunity for people throughout the Nordic Region to gather together to receive practical and inspiring teachings and meet spiritual friends. It is an opportunity to take to heart some practical ways of developing inner peace, compassion and wisdom.
People from all over the Nordic region come to the annual Dharma Celebration, which this year takes place at Gullnäsgården in Strömstad, Sweden. It’s an opportunity to meet like-minded people and hear practical advice on how to maintain a peaceful, happy mind in everyday life.
The Nordic Dharma Celebration is one of many events organized around the world by the New Kadampa Tradition – founded by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. Events take place at around 1100 places in 40 countries, including five Dharma Centres in the Nordic countries.
The Nordic KMC is the principal centre of the Nordic region for the New Kadampa Tradition and is host to this year’s Celebration. Located in the heart of Oslo, it offers many events in Norweigan and English, and with a lively community of spiritual practitioners, it offers a place of joy and peace to the people of Oslo. Everyone is welcome at the Nordic KMC.
