The Nordic Dharma Festival is a wonderful opportunity for people throughout the Nordic Region to gather together to receive practical and inspiring teachings from Gen-la Dekyong, the General Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition. It is an opportunity to take to heart some practical ways of developing inner peace, love and wisdom and to meet spiritual friends.
People from all over the Nordic region will be coming together to enjoy our first ever Nordic Dharma Festival, which will takes place in Oslo. It’s an opportunity to meet like-minded people and hear practical advice on how to maintain a peaceful, happy mind in everyday life.
During the Weekend Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong will guide a deeply peaceful empowerment of the Buddha of Long Life. She will also teach how to transform all life’s challenges & difficulties into valuable and liberating spiritual insights so that we can enjoy a long happy and meaningful life.
Enjoy an inspiring talk with the internationally renowned Buddhist Teacher, Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong on ‘Finding a Happy & Meaningful Life’. She will also guide a relaxing meditation.
This event will take place at Litteraturhuset in Oslo.
The Nordic Dharma Festival is one of many events organized around the world by the New Kadampa Tradition – founded by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. Events take place at around 1100 places in 40 countries, including five Dharma Centres in the Nordic countries.
Nordic KMC is the principal centre of the Nordic region for the New Kadampa Tradition. Located in the heart of Oslo, it offers many events in Norwegian and English, and with a lively community of spiritual
practitioners, and is a place of joy and peace to the people of Oslo.
